So Co-Writer is off mountain climbing for the weekend. Fingers crossed the weather stays good to him.

As for moi, I am sitting in and working. As usual. Fortunately my current project is just QC for a group that really knows what they're doing, so not a huge headache. It's a nice change of pace from what I had been doing, I'll say that.

Right now I'm thinking a lot about my UK-side friends, who are stuck in unexpected heavy-duty heat. It wouldn't be so terrible if it weren't for the fact that UK houses are generally heavily insulated to keep in heat, and most don't have AC because ... why?

So, yeah. They're hitting temperatures a lot of us are used to coping with in the summer, but we're also equipped to deal with it. I hope the heat's gone down at least a little over there and they can have a breather. Sounds miserable.
