Since I'm having trouble editing my previous rant.

Everyone wish Co-Writer luck tonight! If I understood him correctly in my punchiness last night, he's testing for his first stripe tonight.

I'm a fanatical tea drinker. I'll never run out, but I'm always buying new kinds and playing with them (ever since I started watching Legend of the Galactic Heroes and saw that Yang Wen-Li puts brandy in his tea). Awhile back, the Co-Writer Emeritus gave me some rose tea, which I loved. Yellow roses are my favourite flower, and I'd very likely eat 'em, too. Seriously. Rose-flavoured stuff is amazing. I learned this when I ended up with a box of rose and lemon Turkish delight and was curious as to whether I'd made a good choice or not (I had).

Fresh Market is a dangerous store down my way that sells lunch-sized sushi packages on the cheap, twenty thousand different kinds of bread, forty thousand different kinds of cheese, and several hundred varieties of tea. I'd argue that I spend more there than at any fabric store, bookstore, or convention dealer's booth at a go. But I'm getting better. I went in for a pack of tekka maki for lunch, and nearly made it out 'til I found a tin of Republic of Tea rose green tea.

Well, it was cheap. That was okay.

It's great, of course. But a few nights later, my friend Emily (the Ultimate Tali Fangirl and Gwen/Tali 'shipper) came over and was reading through the recipes that came with my new bottle of Chambord.

Well, okay ... hm.

I put about a shot and a half of Chambord into a large pot (not cup) of rose tea, and let me tell you, I am a freakin' genius. That stuff is amazing, and I understand that even people with a low tolerance do just fine with it. (I would happily leave the bags in longer and double the Chambord, but I tend to split a pot with someone else.)

Go, try it. Seriously. I'm considering making iced tea with it, tossing something else in, and making a proper mixed drink (to be named later). If I could find two other good liquers, I'd make another Sticky Wicket drink and call it the Three Maids or something.

If car posts get +1, what do mixed drink posts get?

If you have been, this rant cheats!
