Co-Writer's fault. He said so. He owes me dinner.

So I've just finished doing some very special grudge work for a new client. I don't say 'grudge work' dismissively; it's just a fact. Sometimes the stuff that needs doing is a whole mess of key-clicking and time-code-shifting and it's gotta get done sometime.

Unfortunately in this case, a lot of the files I got had problems, and I got to learn the joys of drifting subtitles and mis-numbered episodes and ... wow. Well, at the very least it's all tied up and on its way to the client.

Now I gotta remember what else I'm getting paid to do.

Oh right. I need to write things.
