1. Who does your printing?

Our main publisher is Unseen LLC, which also handles Fragile Gravity, Partially Clips, and an increasing number of small-press and indie comics. They print through Lightning Source.

2. How do you set your prices?

The publisher gets a set price per book (generally the printing cost). The rest goes to myself and any collaborators. I try to keep all books at the same price; sometimes this means a cut profit for me, sometimes it means more.

3. Can I buy your books at cons? Are they the same price?

Yep! I'll try to list any upcoming cons on the front page so you know where to tackle me. Also, if you see a 'package' on here (like ConScrew 1+2), just let me know you want that and I'll give you the cut price, same as on here. (Congoers also don't have to pay shipping and save me a trip to the post office.)

4. Can I pay by cheque/MO/cash?

Not unless I get a high demand for it, at which point I'll set up a post office box to handle it.

5. Is it true you'll be offering prints for sale on here? What of?

Yes, I'm considering offering limited-edition prints, depending on interest. They'll be of whatever I feel like making them of -- I have no idea right now. Maybe Reika in a bikini.

6. OMG REIKA IN A BIKINI!!!!!!

I said maybe.

7. PLEASE????????????????????????

Gimme some time here.

8. Will you autograph my book/merchandise/etc.?

Sure! Just tell me so, because I tend not to assume (some people really don't want writing on their stuff). If it's from a collaborative comic, though, I can't guarantee I'll be able to get the co-writer to sign as well. If I think it would take awhile, I'll let you know and you can decide from there.

9. What's this about other merchandise?

I'm looking at getting some other stuff made through companies other than CafePress ... the first thing I really want is a good source for little character pins. I have the ability to do embroidered stuff, as well. If you have any ideas for swag, drop me a line ... even more helpful if you know someone who does it for cheap.

10. How often can we expect new books?

This has changed, as we are currently figuring out how to handle release dates opposite printing cost. New Blacklight issues are going to start coming out fairly regularly as they're compiled. If you'd like to see books come out sooner, check out the donations page and see how the latest project is going!
